Lol, you are funny. You consistently state your dislike for coaches like Urban, Pitino, Fleck…because of their slimy crap….yet you lick all over Kelly because he was from Pac12. Guess you ignore his show cause penalty and why he went to Eagles?
Chip Kelly went 10-6 his first 2 NFL seasons. Then two bad seasons.
Chip inherited a dumpster fire at UCLA and tore down the UCLA program, cutting many kids, and started from scratch. This past 2022 season was 9-3, last season 8-4.
Again, Chip can coach offense well.
Show cause? Are you saying there is corruption in CFB?

In 2013, The NFC East was weak. He lost in first round to the Saints, the #6 seed, and only amassed 250 yards. Not the look of an offensive genius you call him. In 2014, did not make the playoffs. Was 3 games out of the playoff. Context is important, and as you like to say, you are cherry picking stats.

I asked you directly if you accepted Chip’s documented cheating while at Oregon, as you have been quite loud and quite insistent that you would not welcome some coaches at ND for the same reason.
You ignored that question now 5 times directly, and tried to bring everything from a Saban, to Kelly’s first 2 seasons at Philly (and this item is pure gold, as in this post you reverse pivot, after trying to present those two seasons as support for your argument that he was an offensive genius…to suggesting those NFL seasons now have nothing to do with UCLA…lol) to corruption in CFB to the SEC and cheating…

If you followed along, I shared NFL info as it was counter to what SJB had argued previously, and it had some relevance to Chip struggling since Oregon
I can't think of a college guy who went NFL and did great. Maybe Harbaugh. But I think he started there.

Well... he did lose in the title game. Unlike Riley who never got there with a whole roster of his recruits. And with a full roster of transfers.

They averaged 39.6 ppg this year...when was the last time we did that?
Wait Riley hasn't won a national championship since he became a head coach in 2017???? All he did was win four conference championships and go 66-12 take a 4-8 team to 11-2, and make three playoffs??

I am sure he will go to the NFL as well. He has the all-time winning percentage for Oklahoma, so I guess I would say he made it better. I think he is a better coach than Kelly, although Kelly is quite good. At least I doubt anyone would pick Kelly over him.

Stoops won a title. He did not. I don't think he made it better. He was similar in success to Stoops without the title.
I think he continued on what Stoops left him but didnt enhance although he did keep it where it was which is an impressive feat

Reality is that a blue chip high school QB has a better chance at heisman and top 5 draft status under Chip Kelly offense
Riley continues to lose the same way, iconic offense and matador defense … his teams get bullied. He’s got a ways to go to be Nick Saban, but who doesn’t? Doubtful he’s got more than 3 seasons at USC before he tries the NFL.
Yes and Brian Kelly played 3 times in NC and playoff but he isn’t in the tier of Lou, Nick, Urban….but Chip is?
