Mills Out For CFP

Mills and Cross are both top level players. Whatever your rankings is, is wrong

The DL depth has been outstanding this year

Withstood 4 players lost for the season and multiple others who missed games and were banged up
Talking interior/DT- Mills/Cross are both very good, neither elite. Backups far from elite

To be sure, losing Riley is a gut punch, but I don't understand all the doom and gloom here. Yes, he is our most stout defensive lineman and probably our best defensive player next to X, but you suck it up and move on.

If this team has shown anything this year, it is an ability to overcome obstacles and defy expectations. I am pretty sure the boys will be fired up to play UGA, and I bet Riley Mills will be standing right there beside them when they do, even if he might be on a pair of crutches. If they aren't crying about their tough luck with injuries, why should we as their fans?

Bottom line. Christian gray is actually going to need to play good and the offense will need to be a little better.m

Georgia rbs for once are not absolute studs and their oline is good not great

To me this game needs to be won on offense and make georgia more one dimensional

Losing so many players on the DLine hurts, it hurts the pass rush which is critical and it hurts against the run game.

We are far from being at 100%

That is a reasoned take. I agree, the offense will probably need to step up its game a little bit. Would be nice to see RL hit a few more intermediate passes. And if we can hit a deep ball or two, great, but I am not getting too optimistic about that.

Jeremiyah Love seems to be a player that elevates his game in big moments. I hope he can run like a man possessed.

On the defensive line, I am going to predict that Bryce Young has a big night.

Too bad; that's a big loss. Mukam will get his chance for more PT, backing up Rubio. Sevillano could see more action as well. Hopefully they're ready to step in.

What a moronic statement -- the S&C Coach had zero do with Mills injury.
It’s surely just a coincidence that a guy who oversaw one of the most injury plagued teams over multiple seasons in the nfl moved to a college team and now that team is injury plagued. Nothing to see here

I don't think S&C coaches have much affect on acl injuries. But who knows. I think they have more impact on soft tissue injuries and we haven't had much of them

But what I do know, this team looks to be in great physical condition. Fit, strong, athletic and well conditioned. The only game of the season I thought we looked a little worn down is against SC

So everyone os talking about the injuries but no one is saying how strong and conditioned the players look. We've had problems with that in the past. And we've had players that didn't look in peak condition. That is not a problem with this guy

Again, Golson has used that adjective often describing Notre Dame personnel. And yes, neither Mills or Cross are elite at their positions, but very good absolutely.

I agree with you there my friend.
We have looked well conditioned. Especially vs TAM and others.

Notre Dame didn’t look worn down against USC. USC simply had WR’s that are skilled and can play at a high level.

I agree with that assessment. But there’s a legit signal for me to believe whatever he’s doing is making the guys more prone to
Injury. Trade offs I guess

Yes they did. DL couldn't get pressure. We didn't have Cross. No KVA. Guys were playing more than usual. Clark and Watts got banged up during the game. Definitely tired after game 12 and traveling cross country coast to coast
