Michigan vs Alabama

Would ND fans be interested in Jalen Milroe as a portal QB? Total badass dual threat and pretty good passer. Quinn Ewers, no, he sucks. But what about Jalen Milroe, even though no one has mentioned it, he could be like Ewers in that he's not going to be a high draft pick, he could still make big money in college, and then have more opportunity to hone his skills. And it seems like Bama doesn't want him back, and they're expecting him to go, I think I have that impression. And he could command really big money, and that would be like a perfect compromise and everybody wins. And Bama gets to move on and he gets to stay in college and get paid handsomely like he should, and the market will definitely bear him a lot. And then try to be a 1st round pick next year.

no thanks, we have our QBs, we need guys who protect the ball - JM already has two fumbles and an interception!!!

You’re joking right

You’re joking right
Absolutely not. That would be a massive score. We're not taking a portal QB, so I'm joking in that sense. I don't think we ever were. But that is about as dual threat as you're going to get. And he is a better passer than RL, and a better runner. I'm not sure he's a real good program fit, he probably isn't at all. But other than that, that would be a huge get. And definitely worthy of a possible 4th portal QB in five years.

Okay, I get what you are saying. Hey, given what Mike Denbrock did for Jayden Daniels last year, I imagine it would be something Milroe would definitely consider.

I just think we need to stick with our current room. Hey, after we win it all this year, I'll be happy to wait a year for our own QB1 to develop!

NO!

Michigan sucks. Bryce Underwood might regret going to Michigan, because he has to be in the Big Ten. And play for Michigan. But F if he can't start for them at QB as a true frosh then no one can.

Nope

Have you recently checked the bowl record of the ACC?
Stop. He didn’t say anything about the ACC.

Have you actually watched Bama? Or you are satisfied to just keep repeating the ESPN mantra….

You stumped for them all year…and carried the SEC water bucket…

Then came OSU-Tenn, and Navy-Okie…and now Bama just showing all the reasons why it didn’t deserve to be in the playoff

Btw, what would be Colorado's record in the SEC?

This isn’t your Nick Saban Alabama….Debore has destroyed the product in 1 year.
And this ain’t your Dabo Swinney ACC champion Clemson who lost by double digits to the SEC runner up, and at home to South Carolina in game 12.

I know, that's what I'm saying. And Milroe's future could be up in the air. He hasn't opted out of the bowl game, hasn't declared, it's like he doesn't know what he's going to do. I don't think he does. And the portal could be an option. But we're not taking another QB, so the question is moot!

Alabama was a 16.5 point favorite

Michigan’s last playcalling series was atrocious

Whether Alabama wins or loses the game is irrelevant, it’s obvious that they weren’t deserving of being in the CFP

All season I’ve said Michigan is a decent team. They’ve hit some transitional issues. Not easy to replace Harbaugh…definitely Saban!

Give the Wolverines credit. Really good D. Best Alabama twice in a row.

Let’s be honest guys…that’s more than the Fighting Irish have done vs elite SEC teams in meaningful games.

Lastly, it’s evident the BIG is good. I still think they will eclipse the SEC. If they haven’t already. Let’s hope tomorrow Notre Dame continues this apparent northern football resurgence.

Bama isn't an elite SEC team this year

One more thing: Michigan sure looked physically stronger than Alabama. Not to the point of Ohio State vs Tennessee.

Michigan imposed its basic smash mouth game. You can do it with top athletes.

Pretty good end of the season for Michigan with wins over Ohio State and Alabama.
