Purse is mad - said recruiting would be down for ten years. Now, we have come out of the gate red hot, so it is back to bashing Kelly, calling people names, and saying it will not last. We are currently ranked #2, so what competition are we not keeping up with?

Celebrate it, be happy. Might not last but why not focus on the positive?

Unless you unequivocally hate Kelly you must have numerous handles, you're a Kelly shill, or you must be Kelly's relative, blah, blah , blah. Any positive recruiting news is countered by him that players will eventually de-commit, or the big boys didn't want him, or he even will state sometimes how he viewed film and had a different opinion than the coaches themselves.

Once somebody referred to him as "one of the Godfathers of the board" and asked his opinion on something. I laughed so hard I damn near fell off my chair.

I am a ND fan and the continuous attempt to distort reality is the tool of the Kelly tools.

Tell the fans how ND is doing compared to the teams on it's schedule for 17&18:
USC, SU, UM,FSU
Those are the benchmarks for ND. Unless the new benchmarks are MSU and purdue ?

ND is currently recruiting better than any of those schools, which will help with the relative talents do teams when we play them.

And considering that we've been going back and forth with USC and Michigan the last several times and have always played very close games with FSU.....there isn't really a concerning talent gap anyways.
