Merry Christmas To Everyone

Currently deployed to an undisclosed location, along with some of the finest young men and women in the American and Canadian Forces. Definitely missing our families this Christmas, but we're thankful for the opportunity to provide protection and medical attention to impoverished families in crisis over the the holidays. I think we're all in agreement that these people need us more than our own families this Christmas.

I wish you all nothing but the best today and I hope you have an wonderful day with your families. Enjoy your loved ones for those of us who are away from ours.

Merry Christmas IIO. Helping impoverished families in crisis, whether in uniform or as a civilian, is symbolic of what Christmas is all about. Doing so at the expense of being with family takes this to a different level of personal sacrifice that is beyond my experience, but recognized and appreciated. Be safe and take care, and wrap yourself in the warmth of knowing you are making a difference to those in need. Merry Christmas indeed!
