Basketball MBB: Notre Dame F Tae Davis will enter transfer portal

The transfer portal officially opens Monday for men's basketball.

The news is already starting Sunday evening with Notre Dame forward Tae Davis planning to enter the transfer portal, a source confirmed with Inside ND Sports. ESPN's Jeff Borzello first reported Davis' decision.

Davis transferred to Notre Dame following his freshman season at Seton Hall. He played two seasons at Notre Dame for head coach Micah Shrewsberry. Davis improved his scoring average to 15.1 points per game last season, which was second-highest on the team behind Markus Burton's 21.3.
