Notre Dame men's basketball 2025 center target Christian Gurdak told Inside ND Sports on Thursday night he has set an unofficial visit for Sep. 23.
He'll watch Notre Dame football against Ohio State after spending the day with head coach Micah Shrewsberry, the coaching staff and current Irish players.
The 6-foot-8, 220-pound center holds four offers from Notre Dame, Iowa, Maryland and Penn State. He visited Maryland in July.
Gurdak visited the Nittany Lions last fall and instantly clicked with Shrewsberry. In June, I caught up with Gurdak and he detailed their relationship and why Shrewsberry is someone he wants to play for.
Gurdak attends Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga College High and played on the grassroots basketball circuit for Team Takeover, the same program that Notre Dame 2024 power forward commit Garrett Sundra, one of Gurdak's best friends, played for. Before he transferred to Gonzaga College High, Gurdak also played with Sundra at Fairfax (Va.) Paul VI.
Rivals hasn't given a rating or ranking to Gurdak at this time.
