I have never been a fan of MR. I watched the AA game he played in and wondered why he was always 'right there' but never made the play. When BK said ND's defense was 9 men and two cones I knew exactly who he was calling out. All my best to Farley.

Only in todays soft and narcissistic society does sending a player home for missing curfew seem "draconian". Was it draconian when Lou Holtz sent Tony Brooks and Ricky Watters packing before the USC game in 1988? Being on time says I respect myself, my teammates, my commitment to the cause, and it says you can count on me to be where I am supposed to be.

Getting past the emotional response that this is a big hit for this game, isn't this a good example of what differentiates Notre Dame in the world of college football?
