Notre Dame has its quarterbacks in the 2020 and 2021 classes. Tonight's Lucky Charms has info on names to watch for quarterback in the 2022 class..

*** Just a sophomore, Chase Harrison from Centerville (Ohio) stands at 6-foot-2, 185-pounds and holds offers from Louisville, Penn, and Toledo. Notre Dame has expressed interest in Harrison, and he will visit Notre Dame on Oct. 12 for the USC game. Harrison camped at Notre Dame in early June.

*** Fort Branch (Ind.) Gibson Southern gunslinger Brady Allen looks to be one of the best passers in his class. While he is an in-state kid, he's located down in Southwest Indiana, making South Bend quite the hike without state crossing state borders, but Allen will visit Notre Dame when the Irish host USC. And Allen also camped at Notre Dame in June. Cincinnati, Indiana, Purdue, and Virginia Tech have already offered the 6-foot-5, 196-pounder.

*** Here's what Allen said to me following the camp about where he stands with Notre Dame: "They don't want to push it. They're ahead of the game. A lot of guys in my class don't have film because they haven't played [varsity] yet. [Rees] is taking it slow and trying to find the right guy who fits them. That's what it's all about for everybody."

*** Martin (Tenn.) Westview quarterback Ty Simpson has nearly 20 offers, including Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, and USC. Notre Dame has not offered yet (they haven't offered any 2022 QBs yet) but he is definitely on the radar. Both quarterbacks coach Tommy Rees and offensive coordinator Chip Long have their eyes on Simpson.

*** In the state of Georgia, Carrolton's Myles Morris is a name to know. The dual-threat quarterback already holds offers from Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Missouri, and Penn State. Notre Dame has some interest in Morris and the Irish stopped by his high school in the spring. The 6-foot, 177-pounder is a name of interest.

*** Lake Mary (Fla.) quarterback Gunnar Smith doesn't hold any offers yet, but at 6-foot-4, 173-pounds, he certainly has the ideal height for the next level. He camped at Notre Dame in the summer and also worked out at Kentucky, UCF, and Florida. Smith will return to Notre Dame for the USC game.

*** One last name I'll mention is Chicago (Ill.) Marist quarterback Dontrell Jackson, who holds an early offer from Illinois. The dual-threat passer camped at Notre Dame in the summer.
