The departure of Freeman would be catastrophic. The transfer portal flooded, 2022 recruiting class collapses and the verbal 2023 pledges most likely back off. Go into Ohio State with Fickell or Campbell (please no) and get absolutely hammered by the Buckeyes. ND is back to being that small school with fight who relies on its past tradition. They have no proven QB, so most likely have 5-6 losses next year.
