A real bona-fide coaching performance. Game plan, adjustments, and actually implemented.

Oh yeah and maybe the most important thing...excitement and emotion.

Congratulations to Tom Herman.

Took a team with allegedly such inferior talent and not only won but dominated that game. That score wasn't indicative of the actual game.

Texas played defense angry. Collectively.
They ran the ball down UGA throat. Their receivers caught the ball.

In the end they are still kids and its anazing how a little mental excitement can bring talent gaps closer.

Ummm Texas lost four games, including unranked Maryland. Texas always has great talent They don't even have to leave the state. Yet another fail from 88!

I agree with 88. Texas was supposed to get their doors blown off by UGA. Granted UGA did have a couple starters on the bench (one injury and one holding out for the draft), but UT played lights out. Thats a couple of things IMO. Great coaching off the field and a great game plan. Both of these can close "talent gaps". ND's talent issues aren't with their starting 22 on any given Sunday, its that they aren't deep enough behind them with the type of talent thats needed.

However, this is not all a coaching issue at ND... its a school and admin problem. An administration blindly dragging a football program into irrelevancy again. But hey, they have a nice NBC contract with lots of money!

12 freshman and sophomores started for Georgia and their 2 best players, Baker and Walker did not play...

Ehlinger had the kind of tough, gutsy, rise to the occasion type performance you need against a top team. His passing numbers weren't amazing but he was excellent running the ball. He was money all night. ND didn't get that from Ian Book. They'll need it to win one of these games in the future. Good for Texas man! They played great. Todd Orlando's pressure packages were great as well. Loved the way he called defense all night!...

Texas also capitalized on great breaks. DeAndre Swift fumbled 3 times and Texas recovered 2 of them. The Georgia punter also made a huge error early in the game. Texas played hard and fearless and caught got a little bit lucky that Georgia did some out of character things. Winning the turnover battle 3-1 was a significant factor in them pulling a 7 point upset.

Love the condescension and excuses.

Georgia didn't fumble the ball in walk throughs.

Moreover you talk like Sam Ehlinger played that way in spite of the coach.

Texas came to play and brought hell with them.

BTW did you even watch the game? If so you wouldn't finish your post with all the window dressing and ONLY get a 7 point win.

You should have finished your post saying Georgia was very lucky the scoreboard ended only down by 7 because this wasn't a 7 point differential game.
