Looks like the Big12 might be going after ESPN/Disney

Here is a tweet from Ralph Russo of Associated Press. In reading a number of Big12 boards, it appears the Big12 is going after ESPN/Disney claiming that they were behind the Texas/Oklahoma jump to the SEC. It is also being alleged that they are trying to get the Big12 to disband so that they do not have to pay the Billion dollar television payout to the Big12 for the last 4 years of the contract.

Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby to AP: “I have absolute certainty they (ESPN) have been involved in manipulating other conferences to go after our members.” The Big 12 has sent a cease-and-desist letter to ESPN, as first reported by

But the Big12 better be careful. ESPN/Disney is someone that you do not want to mess with:
