Lincoln Riley

I feel he is a nice short term option for USC right now, but USC deserves a more well rounded coach. Defense at USC is optional.

Will he be at USC in 2024 or will he be in the NFL?
Up to him. USC loves the guy. 110 million dollar fully guaranteed contract for 10 years, lives in a home worth around 20 million that has an expansive view of the Pacific Ocean in Rancho Palos Verdes, he has two young young kids, it's his call.

I think he's gone. Three reasons: doesn't want to compete in B1G. He left OU because he was scared of SEC. SC moving was a blindside. Number two - his family. Number three - desire to have February -July more or less off compared to CFB.

I saw an article recently where he talked about retiring by 50 and family and NFL off season vs College.

Brian Kelly highly inferred he was retiring as well after his current Notre Dame contract expired.

Then LSU called his agent.

You're right he will be at SC forever. You can relax now. Your true favorite team is safe.

Take Riley with a grain of salt!

Riley will have good teams: 10-2 ish! He is not a top recruiter on either side of the ball. His ego will get in the way of success. He thinks he is so smart and all knowing as a football guru, that he does not need the “best” players, just good ones; he can do the rest. Good Luck with that.

He will be the new coach of the Chicago Bears next season.
They will sell Fields. Get another third round pick. Then they have picks 1-2 in this draft. Which would give them 5 picks in the first 3 rounds
