Let me be the 1st one to congratulate Michigan

On their easy first round victory
Oh wait.. hahahahaha
You shouldn’t gloat, if that was an ND receiver who bobbled the catch and then secured it in the end zone and the refs said it was no TD, you and everyone of us would have gone ballistic.

Both teams played well and TCU came out on top !

Congratulations to both teams !

Agreed.

Also, I think NCAA refs need to get on the same page about what targeting is or isn't. That last play was clearly targeting to the letter of the rule. I have seen so many times where it is obvious, the refs review, then determine it is not.

Why wouldn’t they show the goal line/pylon camera. Nobody can tell for sure if he’s in or out from than back of the end zone camera

Oh shut up..
I gloat as much as I want on Michigan's misery..
Go on their board and console them if you feel so bad for them.

They showed a front view and it was clear that he regained possession only when he was in the end zone.

Bad call !

The fact is that the refs call determined the outcome, especially considering TCU’s missed PAT.

Fans, fanatics like you lack objectivity !

Not so fast. Show me the damn goal line/pylon camera and I might agree. His ass is on the goal line and the ball is in front of him when he gains possession. But whatever, show me the BEST angle and not all the back/front angles.

So the roughing the passer and at least two bad defensive holding calls against TCU were meaningless? Fact is, if Michigan could take a handoff at the half yard line, they score anyways.

That play never should have happened because the previous play was a Michigan TD

Not until I see the goal line/pylon camera IMO. If you’re sitting straight up on a chair, holding a ball in front of you, and your asshole is the goal line, the ball has NOT crossed the goal line if the end zone is behind you.

The front view shows the ball well over the EZ line when he finally gains possession. He’s sitting well into the EZ

The difference in our opinions is that you‘re biased, you don’t want it to be a TD, whereas I’m more objective !

You may be right. I don’t think it’s an absolute though. Show me the BEST camera angle and then we’ll know for sure

His ass lands on the goal line. That is when he is down. If the ball is in his lap and his ass is the goal line, it is not a TD.

It’s kinda of like the SC TD yesterday. While the camera is blurred for God knows what reason, I know that it is impossible to kick up white powder from under your foot if you’re not on white powder. It’s fairly obvious that the white powder was from where his toes were just over the line. It defies all physics otherwise.

I just love they lost by 6 and they were stopped at the two and had an overturned touchdown that was fumbled on the very next play. Hahahahahahahaha.

I would like to point out something. ND gets a ton of flack for being overrated. Can’t win the “big” game. Michigan under Jim Harbaugh is 2-7 In bowl games. They have lost 6 in a row. Yet you rarely hear that brought up by any commentators. On paper Michigan was clearly superior. I guess TCU never got that memo.

When his ass hit the goal line he didn’t have possession of the ball

Hmm haven’t you been bashing Buchner for 2 pick 6’s??? Perhaps JJ shouldn’t have thrown 2 TDs to the opposing team but hell at least Your Boy Buchner got the dub. In the words of Get Nasty, JJ will never recover from this …haha

If you had a brain you’d know that this debate is about the Michigan pass play and has nothing to do with Buchner. Have someone with a brain explain that to you.

I’m starting a new debate, try to keep up. Give us your insight on JJs two pick 6s, we’re dying to hear it.

Wrong, he had possession when his ass hit the goal line. He didn’t have possession when his knee hit down at the one yard line.

The ruling on the field was a TD.
In order to overturn that ruling their has to be incontrovertible evidence to the contrary and that didn’t exist.

Even the network‘s rules expert said it was a TD.

You and the others are hypocrites because you know that if that was an ND receiver you’d be screaming that it was a TD.

The unbiased football world knows that it was a TD.

Just look at the front view

That’s your opinion only. Everyone else sees it differently that he was down inside the 1 yard line.
NO, everyone else doesn’t see it differently, only the Michigan haters see it differently

Why can’t we look at the goal line/pylon view? What’s your infatuation with a view that is less accurate? My guess is that the officials actually saw the goal line/pylon view. We just didn’t for whatever reason ESPN. So, while I understand your incontrovertible evidence argument, I know there’s evidence not being shown during the broadcast. I’ll bet the refs had that evidence though. Ass on the line, ball in the lap, possession, NO TD.

I’ve looked at the pylon view a dozen times and it doesn’t show details on the movement or non-movement of the football, but the front view does show lack of control, then control when the ball is at the white line.

The rules expert and the general football world called it a TD.

The fact that you and I and the entire football world are debating this issue proves that there wasn’t incontrovertible evidence that would overturn the ruling on the field
