Whoever is at the press conference this week can you inquire on why the young linebackers aren’t getting any playing time? The linebackers have been pretty underwhelming so far this year(surprised as they look like they have regressed from last year) and it sounds like our best athletes at the position might be on the bench.
Personally I’ve never understood the fascination with Marist and Kiser has disappointed this year. Bertrand and Bauer make the most of their athletic abilities but they seem somewhat limited in that department relative to the big boys of CFB. We have recruited pretty well and I would have thought Kollie(assuming he’s fully recovered) would be getting some reps and the early feedback on Junior was high. Not to mention Bothelo who is still listed as a LBer although I know he’s kind of a tweener.
I just can’t imagine the drop off would be big if any at this point.
