Very impressive. Would love to see ND come out and play that way in big game some day.
The refs blew it even when they fixed it. At the very least it was grounding..I thought it was bad last week when they said that textbook spearing on the Buckeyes was not targetting.
But what just happened UT-Bama is worse. Bama is taking safety. A Horn defender brushes the qb with his arms before the qb is down. The Refs call roughing the passer with targeting, nullifying the safety.
There was a receiver in the area, although if he catches it he is tackled for a safety. Did they show if the qb was down before chucking it?The refs blew it even when they fixed it. At the very least it was grounding..
He was not down, but I didn't see a receiver. There was a receiver in the area, although if he catches it he is tackled for a safety. Did they show if the qb was down before chucking it?
Intentional grounding is not reviewable (as to a no-call). Since the idiot ref thought it was targeting he didn't consider grounding and it can't be changed. It certainly was grounding. He was not down, but I didn't see a receiver.

I didn't see a reciver nor can I understand why one would be five yards deep in the end zone, five yard off the QB's left.
Ball hit inside the end zoneHe was not down, but I didn't see a receiver.
You have to really stretch the meaning of "in the area."He was not down, but I didn't see a receiver.
Will be one of the best games of the year, I think.Best game of the week so far
They don't call him 7 win Sark for nothing....Sark is a good coach when he is on the wagon. Very glad he has put that problem behind him.
