Kizer better WAKE UP!

Lackluster effort....stupid INT......looks like he's in a fog. BK better tell him Navy plays to the last second!

Ummm no holding call (bogus) &
ND would have 31 pts by halftime and your calling the QB out?

1. what about the DC?
2. what about the play calling? (Head Coach)

heck Kizer might be the best player on the team not named Jaylon!

Don't post during the game. You are liable to make an a** out of yourself. Kizer is doing a great job considering he never played a down before this year.

and you guys don't yet appreciate this guy! news flash: he was all the hope you had and he stepped UP!

Keizer has been GREAT under the circumstances. But, we're kidding ourselves if we ignore his weaknesses. He is still too slow in pulling the trigger, and we have wide open guys not thrown to as a result. He has the benefit of an OL that gives him tremendous protection. Even so, several completions were poorly thrown and would have otherwise gone for more yardage. He does look like a leader out there, and he has made some really great throws; the one to Fuller on the sideline where they confirmed the catch was a thing of beauty. Overall, we are very fortunate to have him, but he needs to continue to improve if we are going to make a run at a major bowl.

Stop the bull. He is playing great. Made a poor decision in first half. His pocket presence is excellent. The kid is is a winner. Enjoy it.

Seriously? Kizer? You're bitching about a Freshman QB who won a late game at Virginia, played well enough to win on the road at Clemson and throws a single pick against Navy but still played good football and won? I don't know, maybe I'm a realist... maybe I've had too much Kizer Kool-aid... but I'm happy with him and he's going to continue to mature, gain experience and improve.

Go Kizer....

So when Kizer makes a quality play it's the kid. But when he throws a pick on a poorly thrown pass it's the play call. You have zero football knowledge and zero credibility.

I've got to ask you though purse. Who's your bigger bromance. Kizer or Harbaugh?

so, when I make an observation that turns out correct, you switch your nonsense to personal attack?

you got nothing? unless you mix apples and oranges?

That is why you been on ignore from your start! You got nothing and occaisional checks seems to say you will probably never be a poster of content. bye bye!

Struck a nerve huh? Go ahead and take your ball and run away. I have a feeling that's not the first time you've done that.

My observation, and clearly not bull.
Tex-- spot on in your evaluation spot on - Kid is doing really well . His int vs clemson was one of four daggers This Saturday will tell a tale or two to the future of the "Kizer Era" @ ND . I'm pulling for the kid 100 % but if he hiccups we have two , maybe three wonderful options -- I'm hearing really good stuff about the new QB recruit who could factor in in a couple years .

Pennick you may want to reread Tex' posts - he may be the best poster on this board

FI -- welcome to the purse party -- stone cold miserable old man - no job - no money - and his only connection to the real world is this miserable forum .

35, assume you are referring to Ian Books. The kid is a very good QB, despite the experts on this board dissing his film and star ranking. He put up monster numbers as a sophomore playing in a spread offense, and very good numbers last year in a pro style offense. Back to a spread his senior year and putting up great numbers, and hurting teams with his legs as well as his arm. Plays against very good competition. Friend tells me he is taller and bigger than what shows on our recruit info, and I trust his representation.

D.Kizer has been a great surprise - meaning - you never know how a kid will perform once he gets his chance regardless of HS Star rating. He is a R/FR who is playing extremely well. Love his height at 6'4" - can run just enough - his arm strength is above average - the more he plays the better he will continue to get better. If he can continue to play w/in himself and keep the mistakes to a minimum - their is no reason why ND can't go at least 11-2 or better in the regular season - which would be outstanding.

Then next year we have 2 rock solid QB's w/ Kizer and Malik - not too mention BW waiting in the wings to prove himself. The QB position finally looks solid for ND - assuming no one transfers.

As much as I have dogged EG for leaving - he has done ND a favor - his leaving has paved the way for DK to get his chance.

I'm trying to be a kinder gentler poster. But can someone tell me...

What does BVG or the play calling have to do with Kizer throwing into coverage at Clemson and Navy?

And does anyone think Kizer is a better player right now then Ronnie Stanley, Jeff Fuller, Sheldon Day or CJ Prosise?

No but I am more concerned about safety play, cornerback play, middle linebacker play and center play than I am about DK's play.
