Khary Adams commits to ND!

Elite elite talent. What a recruiting win here

Mickens and Freeman are Dogs on the trail

The only reason USC has the highest ranked class is because they are up to 30 verbals, and shooting for 35. Quality matters; however, sheer numbers matter as well in these rankings.

We're 3rd overall in the Composite. 2 points behind 2nd. TX am just got a 5 star
Looks like we will get O'Brien. Hopefully we can get Golden too then at a minimum we should land in the top 5. Im surprised how well Elko is recruiting in year 2.

It’s early to worry about class rank, but we’re 2, 3, and 6 right now in Rivals 247 and ON3. Players will be re-ranked some more and there are teams like Bama that are only at 7 commits.

Main thing is we are getting the players the staff wants and I pretty much trust their judgment.

Thanks for the update CB.

Wow super impressed with the recruiting this season. Notre Dame and Marcus Freeman are really riding the momentum from the national title run season last year everything is trending upwards at ND right now

The formula that 247 uses in their class rankings de emphasizes sheer quantity but doesn't entirely discount it. So if you have a bunch more commits than other teams your recruiting score will definitely benefit but not to an insane degree. 247 uses a gaussian formula/rating scale

Exactly. Could care less about what some subjective website thinks. Yawn.

With the players that are left after O'Brien commits, I feel that Golden is the key to this class b/c all the bases would be covered. I wouldn't mind another elite LB. If we get Findlay and Fitzgerald I would keep adding on defense front 7 for depth.

Golden and Finley are the key to me. Need an interior DL and a top WR.

I’m still bummed on missing Vallejo, makes Golden almost a must-get. Perhaps the ncaa will hammer scUM and we’ll flip him later.

Also agree on Finley, no issues on size, speed, hands, routes, and I’d like to see Brown get a big win on an instate, legacy guy.

Quinn committed to Clemson

Golden is on campus now. Full court press on him.

I wonder if staff and recruits watched the announcement on big screen
Surely hope so “this is the safety protecting your backside “ would probably be a good Saleing point

Recruiting rankings are only a piece of the puzzle. ND is getting some really good players. Putting the best players on the best position for success is crucial. Using last year as a barometer, the coaches did a great job and you couid tell the players all bought in. That is why they made it to the NC. I’m not concerned with being 1st or 7th in recruiting. Look at the teams ND is beating out to get theses kids. That right there tells you the type of players they are going after and finally winning in the recruiting battles.
