So after his presser he says changes will be made but it appears only the players will face changes. Saying the defense is the least of the problems shows that he is out of touch and clueless about what's going on in his program. As an Irish fan I expect better from the Coaching staff at the University. BVG needs to go, playing Wimbush is a huge mistake! Losing his redshirt when Kizer is more than capable and Zaire is healthy is just a cop out for his poor coaching and game planning. It's a sign of weakness to blame players! He's lost it and Swarbrick needs to act fast. Leaving Kelly to make decisions like pulling Wimbush's redshirt hurts ND's future. This is clearly a Coach with an exit strategy based on losing games. He doesn't care about this team or its future this is about saving his job and future jobs. First a defensive overhaul is needed and BVG must go! Secondly a new DB Coach is needed asap. One with a track record of developing talented players into great players. Get someone to replace BVG that recruits, not having him as a recruiter handcuffs the defense. He's not out there getting the guys he wants to build his defense? How does that make sense? Trusting others to bring you talent you need to win is just stupid. This program is in a downward spiral and Kelly is driving that bus down the hill. For God's sake somebody step in and stop the crazy bullshit!
