He’s apparently has really good speed. Read he has really good hands as well. He’s a three star who has had a very good senior year, and probably due for a bump. He decommitted and is on an official to ND for the Clemson game…so we can welcome him aboard in a few days.Decommits from Texas Tech. Is this the speed we have been looking for?! (And another Texas receiver in this class!)
Can he play QB?Decommits from Texas Tech. Is this the speed we have been looking for?! (And another Texas receiver in this class!)
Stu…the problem for us continues to be the play of our QBs. Merriweather and Lenzy have both been wide open for sure TDs on a couple occasions, and both Buchner and Pyne blew their opportunities. I think we would have had ugly wins over both Marshal and Stanford if our QBs had made these easy connections. Speed at WR is great and something we need to continue to add, but of little matter if we can’t make these passes.Decommits from Texas Tech. Is this the speed we have been looking for?! typically bad players but ones good enough to play at a high level that have a passion for teaching make for good coaches. in Rees’s case he’s poor at bothStu…the problem for us continues to be the play of our QBs. You picked the perfect photo for the tone of your posts. Bravo.typically bad players but ones good enough to play at a high level that have a passion for teaching make for good coaches. in Rees’s case he’s poor at both
I expected Tyler to be a stud for us….a true dual threat QB that would excite fans and recruits and ignite our offense. He clearly has elite running for a QB, but his limited attempts passing were far less impressive. His lack of game experience covering his high school years and now two yrs at ND is an extreme negative at this point. Personally, given his history of one off injuries, I think It would be crazy to plan on his availability to make a difference going forward. So yes, I agree about a transfer next year, and your Card guy would be at the top of my list. But, I’m not from that part of the country….I’m from your part! Calif for 70 years and now Nevada for two and counting!Agreed Telx -- when haven't been able to hit the downfield pass since Kizer. I think Buchner has the arm to do it but he has yet to show the touch. Remember, Tyler only started two games and that was when our O-line was still a work in progress. That said, we need a top ranked QB, no doubt -- Rees seems to have one in CJ, but with all of the 'experts' on these sites calling for his head, I expect if Tommy leaves, CJ will go elsewhere. I do think we'll bring in a transfer this year. I like the kid from Texas, Hudson Card -- I was impressed by his film vs. Alabama this year. He can make all the throws and he can move. He's from your part of the country, do you agree?
you mean areal American? Thanks. You picked the perfect photo for the tone of your posts. Bravo.
Elon Musk, whats your problem with himYou picked the perfect photo for the tone of your posts. Bravo.
He is successful, likes free speech, intelligent, called out AOC. Probably 4 reasons he’s butt hurt.Elon Musk, whats your problem with him
I really like Stuckey as our receivers coach, and he’s very high on this kid. I agree it will suck if we lose Lyon’s, and he Seems to be trending away from us. But Stuckey wants this kid and he‘s a hell of a lot better judge of receiver talent than me, and he’s done a really good job recruiting thus far. So if he wants, I Want.I see solid speed on film but not lyons
would stink if we lose out on lyons
it would mean we lost out on a lot of options and pretty much settled
Well we offered Lyons first and wanted him to commit. He didn't and wants to play it out. So then we offered this kid to take Lyons spot since Lyons isn't coming here.I really like Stuckey as our receivers coach, and he’s very high on this kid. I like stucky but our best wr or who should be our best has regressed from the end of last year… need to see more play along from wr… qb play not helping obviouslyI really like Stuckey as our receivers coach, and he’s very high on this kid. Agree. Lyons has family at ND and still slo played his offer. So move to next guy. Repeat move to next guy. If we had done that with our qb recruiting we would not be screwed now. Move to guy who wants to commit. BingoWell we offered Lyons first and wanted him to commit. He didn't and wants to play it out.
