TUESDAY, TUESDAY, TUESDAY
With @Tyler James enjoying a little post-birthday time off, Football Never Sleeps against shifts out of its normal Monday at 7 p.m. timeslot to a special TUESDAY NIGHT at 7 ET LIVE presentation. And former Notre Dame offensive lineman and current Little League baseball coach Bob Morton joins me for some fun and (hopefully) stimulating Notre Dame Football talk as the returning Irish players starter their summer program today (Monday).
This forever will be known as the "Oh Crap" edition of FNS, but don't let the unflattering episode title scare you off. The technical expertise to start the show was lacking, but the content was tremendous, thanks to Bob and great viewer questions. To give you a little background, the setup was missing some elements, so I aborted out of our first take. After 20 minutes of sweating and republishing with a new link, off we went sans the theme music. The proper link has been inserted in this edited post.
Bob and I explored the summer workouts, the strength & conditioning program under Loren Landow, and the player-led development that builds future champions.
Topics covered:
• What the play-led workouts are like and what needs to be prioritized in them
• What the strength & conditioning priorities should be under Loren Landow
• How leaders emerge in the summer when almost no one is watching
• What the coaches can do both in limited direct contact and from a distance
• Scads of offensive line talk (given the co-host’s expertise)
• And YOUR questions answered LIVE
If you'd like to submit questions, make sure you click through so you're watching on YouTube's site or in the YouTube app if you're on mobile.
