John Saunders, host of Sports Reporters on ESPN, gave his parting shot this morning directed at Everett Golson. He talked of Golson's up and down career at ND: starting the national championship game against Alabama, having to sit out a year for academic inpropriorities to returning for the 2014 season and finally deciding to transfer for 2015. Saunders who has been a Notre Dame hater since Ty Willingham was fired over a decade ago, claiming ND was a racist university surprised me with his comments.
Saunders said the best decision EG has made was returning to South Bend to receive his diploma !! Wow, what a complete 180 Saunders has done. Good for him. We will see how long the kudos last especially if Golson has a great year where ever he goes and has a Heisman type season !!!
