I don't believe it Bodi! He has the most perfect white trash, rules and laws be damned set up that college sports has ever seen. Why would he walk away from such an appropriate situation? I can't imagine a circumstance where anyone would even consider leaving a high-paying job in the double-wide capital of the world!

It only makes sense. Jumbo's reputation is that of an enabler at best or one who totally does not care about personal behavior given his handling of the never ending criminal issues with his team. At FSU, he will never clear his name as its business as usual with crime and criminals so a move to a much cleaner UGA, also a far better program, only makes sense.
Jumbo's life is in turmoil with his wife leaving him for a younger and smarter man and he has become the coach who is the butt of all jokes for reasons he allowed to happen.
Most programs would steer clear of him and his issues, but UGA is a bit desperate and maybe they would take a chance that Jumbo would jump at. We'll see!

Name one player under Fisher's tenure that has been charged or arrested and not suspended or dismissed. Just one. Fisher is as tough on disciplining law breakers as anyone in the country and that includes Kelly.
Also, the number of arrests at FSU under Fisher pales in comparison to UGA. It's not even close.
Fisher has no issues that affect his status as one of the top coaches in the country and most successful over the past three years.

Maybe Fisher would like to go to the talent rich Bulldog program . But on the other hand staying at Florida St, Jimbo 's quest to get to the Final 4 would be a little easier in the ACC than the SEC . The main competition in the ACC would be Clemson ,compared to Alabama,Texas A &M, LSU ,Florida ,etc.in the SEC.

Don't know that it is exactly better. More like a lateral move. He has developed FSU into a perennial power, so why would he want to have to start over? Also, getting to the playoff is MUCH easier in the ACC than the SEC.

He's on every poll listed as one the top coaches in the country, has put more players into the NFL over a three year period than any coach in history, considered a top recruiter, and has won a National Championship and played in the playoffs for a 2nd. Back to back undefeated seasons. Last year's against the #22 ranked SOS. One of the top paid coaches in Div 1.
