I may have missed posts in regards to Smith's return to football, but I just wanted to highlight and state how proud I am of the young man for finally overcoming so much adversity and getting on the field for the Cowboys this past weekend. I don't watch the cowboys, so I had no idea he was finally full go. But he was such a pleasure to watch at ND. The plays he made on defense were amazing. He actually made it look like BVG's defensive scheme would actually work! I mean, my god, just typing that statement is a testament to his talent level. Sadly, I nearly had forgotten about his road to recovery, but now I will definitely be paying attention to the Cowboys to see him in action. Way to go Jaylon!
