I’ll post the link soon. I guess that means Spindler is good or Pendleton will be starting. Huge news and it will be needed for Ohio States experienced and talented ends.

The downward side is the lack of experience. Offensive lines get better the longer they play together. Reps matter. That being said I like the size increase. He was supposed to start at left tackle before the injury so it might be an upgrade compared to Knapp. Jag is bigger than Knapp and was rated higher. I see no down ward side with him.
No disrespect to Knapp, but it is an upgrade. Knapp struggled in pass pro this year, but did an outstanding job considering the circumstances. Jagusah was a borderline 5 star recruit and is 6’7 330. People at ND were talking about him as a future first round type of talent. He was supposed to start at left tackle before the injury so it might be an upgrade compared to Knapp. Jag is bigger than Knapp and was rated higher. Knapp is an outstanding run blocker. Excellent technique for a young player and plays with really good leverage. He was a godsend this year. Jagusah Monday night is a no brainer if Spindler can go. I still honestly believe Jagusah has a much higher ceiling inside. Next year will be fun to watch develop. So, so many capable players. No disrespect to Knapp, but it is an upgrade. I don’t think people understand how big of a development this is. For all the injuries we had on defense, we sorely needed some good news on the injury front.
I agree and more importantly, I think Rudolph sees Jagusah’s future as a guard. We will miss Knapp’s run blocking, and the coordination that had developed along the line. But overall, I think Jagusah is an upgrade to Knapp at LT, and a significant upgrade to Baker. But, the young man has started all of one game, and he has missed the entire regular season! I’m glad he will be confronting guys that bull rush rather than someone like Carter at Penn State, but you know there will be some missed assignments and poor communication as he settles in. Still, overall, very pleased with this decision.Knapp is an outstanding run blocker. Excellent technique for a young player and plays with really good leverage. He was a godsend this year. No because they wouldn't want to break up continuity. Many of you are acting as if ND is fortunate that the guy that started every game at LT this year was injured in the last game. I ask you, would 56 be playing Monday if no one were injured vs PSU?
You do realize the reason Knapp was starting is because Jagusah got hurt? Many of you are acting as if ND is fortunate that the guy that started every game at LT this year was injured in the last game. I ask you, would 56 be playing Monday if no one were injured vs PSU?
Yes, of course. That was when Knapp had zero starts and before this line had developed as unit over the course of 14 games. Do we know Jagusah has no lingering rust (unlikely), is fully confident in his rehab (possible)and has fully returned to his pre injured state (50:50)?You do realize the reason Knapp was starting is because Jagusah got hurt?
Whether he is fully healthy and in excellent shape are my two biggest concerns.Yes, of course. Is it possible that Jagusah is fully healthy, has been chomping at the bit for a month and is in the best shape of his life ? If 56 is the healthiest, most motivated lineman on the team, what a weapon that could be
What makes you think Rudolph thing Jags is more of a guard? He had him starting at left tackle at beginning of camp.I agree and more importantly, I think Rudolph sees Jagusah’s future as a guard. And he had him practicing at right guard exclusively upon his return to practice last month. What makes you think Rudolph thing Jags is more of a guard? He had him starting at left tackle at beginning of camp.
He had a healthy left tackle and an injured right guard. And he had him practicing at right guard exclusively upon his return to practice last month.
Well, you’re right about that. I guess we’ll find out this Spring what position Rudolph sees in Jagusah’s future. He had a healthy left tackle and an injured right guard.
6'7 330 and athletic LT all day! Next future star on the line, now does that mean he doesn't get blown up by Sawyer we shall see🍀Well, you’re right about that. I guess we’ll find out this Spring what position Rudolph sees in Jagusah’s future.
