Jordan Genmark-Heath supposedly taking an OV to ND this weekend. Kid is relatively new to American football and from Sweden, and has great SS size and Athleticism who loves contact. Would be a SS or Rover candidate in Elko's system.
Hippenhammer took an unofficial visit to ND yesterday, and this Penn State commit from Indiana always wanted to play for ND, but the late offer has to weigh on him. He's a high three star WR and high character kid and natural fit at ND
Four star WR Oliver Martin taking an OV to Miami this weekend, but still looks like a head to head battle with Iowa for this kid.
The DT out of Hawaii, Amosa, still hasn't finalized an OV to ND, and many sites suggest he is a lock for USC, but Polian is on this kid with laser focus and we should hear in the next few days whether he has succeeded in getting him to commit to an OV the last weekend of Jan.
Haven't read anything about Nebraska commit DE Demetrius Robinson of late.
I believe Tenn de-commit CB Norwood has scheduled an OV for this or next weekend, and he is considered by some as our most probable flip to ND.
I'm not on top of recruiting like some here, but guys like Cage and Bailey and Smith and Holmes and Jackson, et al... are still in play at some level, and hope we read about some OV's for some of these guys soon. We are in need of some positive news to shift the perception of ND recruiting at this late date, and to show some positive developments for the new coaching staff. These guys might be plan B, but there are some talented guys here that would round out our 2017 class nicely. Hope other posters here have more info on these and other targets to add.
