It's really nuts how so many ND naysayers are coming out of the works to take shots at the committee at placing ND so high. Particularly our friends from the Big 12.

Maybe they are realizing strength of schedule actually matters up to this point. TCU fans are valuing wins at Kansas St and Minnesota. Baylor may be the most generous rating of the committee. It's possible a few high school teams in Texas have played a better schedule than the Bears.

The committee did the right thing and I credit them for having the guts to do so. Baylor and TCU (to a lessor extent) hasn't played anybody and I mean anybody! They will over the next 6 weeks and I'm sure they will be rewarded. But until they do so, they get what they get, imo.

I can see why the Big 12 would be pissed. I'm not saying they are justified, just saying I can see why they are pissed.
