I made a good effort to post only football related stuff in order to extend an olive branch to the non premium members. I have been met with nothing but hostility. I am outraged and will now begin to write letters and emails to get this nonsense to cease. Moderators?

Be patient. When an entire class of people has been ground down under the boot heels of society for so long, they will be understandably suspicious.
Perhaps if you offer them tidbits of ND information the same week it breaks, a little at a time, and in small doses, they will learn to trust.
Treat this as if you're feeding squirrels in the park. Slow, small doses of premium information should eventually win them over.
