According to the linked article:
If Nebraska does end up in the market for an offensive line coach, there are multiple known candidates. Frost interviewed Donovan Raiola, the Chicago Bears assistant offensive line coach who played college football at Wisconsin, late last week, a source confirmed to the Journal Star. Raiola has been with the Bears for the past four seasons and was a graduate assistant at Notre Dame from 2015-16.
Frost also met with Notre Dame offensive line coach Jeff Quinn in South Bend, Indiana, a source said.
I don't think Quinn would be talking to a guy like Frost, who might be gone after next year, if he had not gotten some indication from Freeman that he would not be on the ND staff next season.
Whatever happens, I hope things work out well for Quinn and his family. Quinn seems like a good guy, a pretty good recruiter and, at worst, a competent offensive line coach. I don't think that the guy was deserving of all the hate that was spewed against him by a segment of the ND fanbase.
