It’s Wide Open Nobody looks unbeatable

Still waiting for 27… 1/3 is a decent start! And you even left off off your first round QB 😬You’re a lunatic if you’d take our current roster over the 2015 roster. This secondary got chewed up against a .500 USC team. Watts is the only guy who may give the edge to this years team. Did you forget how good Procise, Adams, Dexter, Folson were?

Secondary
Tranquil (pro bowler)
Redfield (5 star)
Farley (8 years in the league)
Russel (3rd round)
Luke
Shumate

Linebackers
Jaylon Smith (Top 5 talent, mentioning Kiser/Bowen is laughable)
Coney

DL 😂 you think Cross, Mills, Burnham is better?? Asinine
Jerry Tillery (1st round)
Issac Rochelle (7 years in the league)
Sheldon Day (9 years and counting)
Okwara (8 years in the league)

TE
Smythe 4th round draft pick, been in the league for 7 years. Alize Mack 7th rd pick.
Agree. The 2015 roster is the best in the last 20 years.

So am I.

When there are only 2 or 4 teams in a CFB playoff, winning a game, like 2012, 2018, and 2020, is much much tougher.
But BK couldn't even win a major bowl game.

You're putting guys on there that didn't make the league

Redfield and Shumate no NFL. Coney no NFL. Mack no nfl. Folston no NFL.

Was that a joke saying about the secondary and getting scored on by USC? That team gave up over 30 points 4 games. Stanford scored 38 on them. Are you high?

4 or 5 of these linebackers will be on a nfl roster. Schmidt wouldn't even see the field on this team and he started

TE are you joking? Evans is better than Smythe was. And Mack never played a down in the league. Raridon and Flanagan will have a good chance

The 15 roster was a really good roster. Had 26 players in the league. This roster will have a good amount more

You were right. It's not close. Don't forget I was counting the whole depth chart. Some of those guys didn't even play on that team. When you get down to our young guys is going to blow that class away.

And I'm not even counting some of our injured guys on this depth chart. I didn't even include Morrison and Traore who played for this team

It's not close. This team will have over 30 players that get drafted

You’re getting bent over here, just grab the Vaseline and take it. Im not allowed to list guys that didn’t play in the NFL? Haha this is what you’re whole argument is based on, projecting current guys who have never played in the league.

You trying to tell me Josh Adams shouldn’t be considered when comparing the two rosters cause he didn’t play in the league? Well you came up with 9 guys who could potentially play in the league…you’re getting close bub

And a 1st round projection for Leonard. Straight garbage.

Shall we go off of recruiting rankings? Any game you want, we have facts over here and you have Riley Leonard 1st round projections.

Please list the other 29 NFL bound guys on the team..I’ll grab a beer

What are you talking about? Josh Adams played in the league. You don't even know the roster you claim to know so much about. I already counted him stupid

Get bent is right. 26 nfl players on that depth chart. This one will be in the 30s

It's not even close. The whole thing is a projection. That's a stupid argument. You are projecting that they won't make the league. I am projecting they will

Your arguments are just awful

🤣🤣

Telling me not to project when you are making projections. What are you stupid or something

This roster is loaded top to bottom. You're too stupid to see it

This draft class will have about 8 or 9 guys alone that play in the league. And its only going to go up with the increase in talent we are bringing in. It's not close

The more I sleep on it, for ND the difference comes to:

1) RL having to throw deep.

2) An optimal offensive game plan...anchored on the OL and run game, mixing play action, RL running, but keep them honest with deep ball strikes if they dare you.

3) The kicking game: this alone could be the margin.

Against teams like Oregon, Georgia, and Ohio State, these in combination can be the difference. Even if ND brings their A game. Fingers crossed.

Line play on both sides will be critical, as in most games. We need to show we can run against a very good run defense, and protect Leonard against a very good rush end they have. On defense, we need to put a lot of pressure on their QB. He has shown to be very accurate and effective when given time, and very ineffective under pressure. Golden will need to dial up a large variety of looks with blitzes coming from different places to rattle their qb.

Agree with all of this

Name the 30, what you waiting for? I’ll kick it off for ya:

1: Riley Leonard (1st round) *your judge on talent is already in question, can’t wait to hear your next 29 bub. You have yet to address this, dodging it per usual.

2. Who are the 9 that will get drafted this year?

3. What the hell does future classes mean when comparing this team to 2015?

For sure. Just look at the linebackers and secondary, no comparison. You had Manti but Fox and Calabrese way to slow to crack this lineup. Same on offense. Who on the 2012 offense starts on the current team ? Martin, Stanley and Eifert and that's it.
I'd take the corners from the 2012 team, the DL of Nix/Day, it's tough to compare running backs as they are dependent on everyone else.
Texas am is ranked 26th. Louisville 27th

25 is a subjective number

We beat 3 top 27 teams.

Like I say with recruiting the 32nd ranked player is a 5star. The 33rd a 4 star. There really is no difference

We beat 3 good teams
Colley gives ND 6 top 50 wins. Only Oregon and UGA tied that with the CCGs. The middle of the schedule turned out okay, especially if you give ND credit for their opponents' wins. SC>LSU, UL>UK, GTech > Miami and almost tied UGA.

Then you are clearly in the Alabama deserves to be in the playoff group because they beat #2 Georgia, Ranked Missouri, and LSU.
They beat the Drew Pyne Mizzous. I cannot believe we are entertaining this from a three loss team.

1. If I list 30, you would cry because some haven't played yet like a Guerby so you'll challenge every player. I know you from your comments. So to list 30 when you will question them all is stupid.

2. You're RL comment is you throwing in the white flag without saying youre throwing in the white flag. It's so stupid. You know NFL teams miss all the time with QBs drafted in the 1st rd. So if I'm wrong you think that means everything it means shit. Bill Belichick drafted Mac jones in the 1st round. Bust. Johnny Manziel was drafted 1st rd. Jamarcus Russell. Josh Rosen. Ryan Leaf I could go on and on. Does that mean all those people are bad evaluators. Nfl teams miss all the time. If that's all you got, you're a bigger moron than I thought. Trey Lance. Zach Wilson. How many QBs did Elway miss on? Just a really stupid stupid point by you. Akili Smith. Brady Quinn. Rick Mirer etc etc etc.

3. Because you said the roster was more talented. I said no this roster is. Then you showed a depth chart that I said were NFL players that didn't play on that team or at ND, Jalen Guyton. I still counted him. This roster top to bottom is better

4. The guys in the draft class who will get drafted or play in the NFL at some point. There will be 8 to 9

Ben Morrison
Xavier Watts
Howard Cross
Riley Mills
Mitch Evans
Jordan Clark
Jack Kiser
Riley Leonard
Beaux Collins

Some starters from this team who will start or play in the NFL

Love
Wagner
Schrauth
Price
Young
Bowen
Shuler
Moore
Gray
KVA

There's more depth guys and young guys who will also be NFL guys. This roster is better no question

Not near 30..your RL infamous 1st round statement is more of an indictment on your judge of talent as it relates to this conversation.

You can pivot as you wish stating non-players as an argument as why this team is better but bottom line- head to head, this team is grabbing its ankles like you

In your opinion. You have nothing to base that on at all. This team hasn't gone into the draft. It will take 5 years to know and after 5 years you will be proved wrong by a long shot

The RL thing means shit. It's you grasping at straws and throwing in the flag. If that's all you got, that's means you have nothing

This 24 team has way more talent top to bottom than the 15 team. There will be more NFL players on this team and it might not be close

Your basing this team on guys that haven’t played a down.. how does that impact a head to head matchup?

I used players that didn't play on that team as well....I just said overall team talent this team has more and will have more NFL players. More talent top to bottom

If you are talking about head to head matchup I would pick this team because that team had a major weakness, BVG

This years team strikes me as balanced team on both sides of the ball, moreso than in years past. Defensively, I think this is as good of a group as we've seen. I have no reservations in saying this defense will keep us in a ballgame when the O struggles. Offensively, again, we're very balanced. As critical as I have been of him, Leondard is a definite X factor with his legs. Mobile QB's are a pain to defend.

What I find interesting about this offense is aside from Love, no one really stands out, especially our recieving corp. To be honest, that kind of makes defending them tough as you have no one WR to ensure you roll coverage to at all times. Spreading the wealth to a lot of different guys is rough on defenses. You have to account for everyone, every snap. I liken this offense to a NE Patriots offense back in the day. No one flashy for the most part, but Tom Brady dinked and dunked down the field at will, using a lot of different recievers.
