After the SEC Championship game I started a post that said you need an elite college QB to win a National Championship. I don’t think Bennett qualifies and I would say he’s not even as good as Book. I still think at a school like ND you are probably going to need someone that’s a top couple round draft selection type of talent to win the NCG but hopefully Freeman’s recruiting prowess lessens the need for a College Trevor Lawrence type of QB.

Bennett: 64%/2862 yds/10 yds per attempt/29 TD-7 int 177 QB rating 14 games
