No not by his dropped pass......by his THUGS that are his teammates. I agreed with Nantz it was a "disgrace" to behave like gang thugs AND then lose a playoff game you had won. I wish 55 & 24 would be banned from the league.

If that is the new NFL....I will be done watching.

I'm sure deep down he is.
I'm just sorry I stayed up and watched that crap!

You can make up that crap of a finish. I stayed up too and was stunned that millionaire grown men could melt down in such a way.

Come on, HRC, surely you're not surprised by the antics of Burfict. Or freakin' Pac Man.

That's just a normal day at the office for them.

I don't get it .Why is Eifert the only Bengal embarrassed ?Most of the players on the team and the coaches .?

Someone is going to get killed if that continues. It'll be interesting to see the league fines/suspensions...

What did Jones (#24) actually do? I did not see that replay.

Burfict would have been ejected in the college game; a real cheap shot.

But, I also thought Shazier should have been panelized for the helmet use when he hit Gio Bernard. That hit escalated the Bengals feelings and it seemed many reacted as if the refs were against them.

Re the thread title: I do not think Eifert needs to be embarrassed. He is not responsible for the other players' actions.

Jones was goaded into a spat with Joey Porter, never an angel himself. Guess it's OK for Steelers LB coach to run onto field during injury to WR. But it worked; Jones got 15 more by failing to control himself

The call on Burfict was a good call, but Porter and Jones should have gotten offsetting 15 yd penalties imho. Refs need to have a feel for the situation, just like players do.

Of course he is embarrassed by the actions of so many on the field Saturday. He was taught to play the game fairly, squarely and by the rules and he sees these low life's who car nothing about honor schooled in the FSU way of winning at all costs while anything goes on and off the field.

He is disgusted as are most people who want to clean out the filth!

i doubt he is. guys at that level have enough to worry about in themselves. pissed i'm sure. embarrassed, not likely.

Twalsh,
Joey porter was entitled to be out there to check on his player. What ensued was another Steeler coach trainer removing Burfict's arm from Antonio Brown browns horse collar area as he was taking him off the field. That was a little forearm hand wrangling between that guy and Burfict. Porter then with hands in pockets turned was saying something to that Bengal group and #95 for the bengals bumped Porter from behind . After that all I can say is Pac Man just like other players who just can't help themselves when a moment of thuggery comes along they never take the high road. He took a shove...punch...whatever shot at Porter.....
Porters hands never left his pockets during the situation.

Marvin Lewis has ZERO control of his team. The Bengals have some real talent. Both sides of the ball.
But the NFL today does not tolerate the 1987 Miami Hurricanes. The difference between Marvin Lewis and Jimmy Johnson is JJ promoted this type if behavior.

Marvin knows it's wrong but won't say boo to his players more than a crooked smile saying that is wrong to do.

Wow. Only Eifert must be embarrassed because he graduated from ND. I guess no other colleges produces players with any integrity. Pompous ass!!

not true. porter was not out there checking on brown. he knew exactly what he was doing and will pay a substantial fine for his actions. concern for antonio brown was not his intent. the undisciplined bengals played took the bait. that said i thought it was cheap, unsportsmanlike act by porter.
