First game is in 13 days. Coach is now transitioning from training camp to game prep. Does anyone know the teams travel schedule? If they are going to play a night game in Ireland and fly back and play the next weekend in South Bend I hope they at least get to Dublin several days before the game.

They won’t be sightseeing in Ireland.

That's too bad. While I understand they have a schedule and practices there is time to at least soak up a bit of the culture / experience.
I respectfully disagree. It’s a business trip, go win the game, then get back to get ready for what will be a brutally tough schedule.

These guys are going to graduate w ND degrees. They’ll likely have lucrative careers, and will have the ability to travel internationally every year. Do it then w friends and family.

There will be exactly 1 23-24 season. They’ll have plenty of chances to visit Dublin…..it’s an easy flight from the east coast….

Bullshit. Go to Dublin and prepare for the game, play the game, win the game, and fly home. This isn't high school.

The last game in Ireland was a 9 or 10 AM kick, but Navy was the home team and CBS had the game.

Would have liked to have a similar kickoff this time around.

9 or 10AM Ireland time? That puts it at 5AM in states. 9 or 10AM in states? Well that is way too fricking early. I like the 230pm time frame. Time to get shit done early in the day, and plenty of time for beer drinking.

Being in the Pacific time zone, I liked the 6am start the last time ND played in Ireland. Wake and bake...Wish this year was like that one.

Have good memories drinking Guiness and enjoying a health Irish breakfast with a group of friends that morning.

I don’t like them going to Dublin. Stupid. Go to Ireland after the season. It’s only for $.

If you’re going to travel that far make it worth the trip and add a 13th game and go to Honolulu. At least that would have a purpose.

I was at a local bar at 10 AM, they had breakfast specials and drink specials just for the game.

I suspect he means an afternoon game in Ireland, as opposed to an evening one as it is this time.

Last Ireland game was 930AM EST kickoff, 230PM Ireland time. This year it’s 230PM EsT, 730PM in Ireland

I remember someone set an alarm on his flip phone to wake up to watch the 2012 Navy game on the west coast. His memory is odd because he would now never set an alarm for a BK coached team, and that guy now feels like someone else.

It's not in the budget. Remember, according to Chaseball ND doesn't spend money on its student athletes. 🙄
