Fort Worth Star Telegram had an interesting article not he 2012 class in the Big 12. On signing day 2012 Baylor was ranked 41st class in the nation, but 5 years later that class had better impact than the Texas and Oklahoma classes ranked in the top 10.

As signing day approaches, coaches are looking for the next great quarterback to guide them to the playoffs. Quite a few teams struggled with quarterback play this past season and part of those struggles might be attributed to the 2013 recruiting class. Of 72 quarterbacks who signed with Power five programs in 2013, 59 did not finish their careers with the team they signed with. That class experienced an incredible amount of attrition in one form or another and would have been key contributors at this stage in their careers.
Yes, I wish we had a 4 and 5 stars like Bama and Ohio State - but just some perspective.
