Lol a freshman qb drops 50 on them and you say they need to tighten the defense up.
Thanks Sparty......They tightened up in the second half....but some missed tackles to clean up for sure.....only 2 returning starters on Defense hurts.....This team is a year away from last years but some yount talent...See ya in 2 weeks!
I came away very impressed with Texas and Notre Dame. Sometimes both teams in a game impress and for me that was the case last night. In the first game of the season ND may have just lost to the Big 12 champ on the road in overtime. Yes, the Texas QB is a true freshman and he looked like a brilliant new talent to me. What a wonderful deep ball he throws.
The best thing that could happen to ND is for Texas to win the Big 12. Assuming we do what we need to do the rest of the year.
Very kind of you Sparty to use the gentle approach and find reasons for optimism.
In this day and age, it seems that people on these forums like to go to the different boards and kick kids/schools when they are down in an attempt to boost their own program.
It is refreshing to see sportsmanship and character among rivals.
The very best of luck to MSU....I'd like to see the Irish get the "w" in a few weeks...But, aside from that, I hope MSU runs the board and wins the Big X !

well BoldSpartacas it'll be an irish defense that really needs to improve in all areas against a Spartan offense that looked really bad at times Friday against non div 1 furman and a pretty good irish offense against what looked to be a stout mich st front seven. enjoy malik McDowell while you can because he looked like the beast Friday that made our irish and every other big time program want him bad
Bold----I agree. At least the texas team & QB that played us IS a good team. ND can be too. We need to quickly develop our young WR's & DB's.
End shut the f up. Bold is a long time poster here and is always money. Bold, we have talent we do not have coaches.
