I was watching the 1987 Alabama Notre Dame this morning, Alabama head coach was asked what it means to play ND and

Alabama's HC Bill Curry stated something profound:


"Such high-stakes it would still be exciting just because it's Notre Dame and Alabama but with all the things that ride on and I think it becomes a wonderful thing for not just sports fans were for young people in the eye so much negative today I think it's exciting for people in Indiana and Alabama and around the country to be able to focus on an event like this and I'm excited that it's a marvelous"

Who would of thought then those words would be very welcome today.

I desperately want a respite from all the political crap swirling around us on a daily basis, and nothing is better for this than college football, and ND football specifically. One week and counting!

Now some USC students are claiming the mascots horse is racist because the name is traveler which was Robert Ali's horse's name though it was spelled differently

Watched the initial "College Gameday" show from the ESPN studios. No mention of ND or any of our players. When discussing teams that will improve, again, ND was not mentioned. I am now an expert on Bama, Clemson, OSU, and FSU though. With that said, it's up to ND to create chatter. Georgia, USC NCST, Miami, Stanford. The talking heads will not respect you until you start winning these games. On a side note, I have my geared packed and ready to go for Saturday. White Lot ETA around 9AM eastern.
