The NBC Sports Network live telecast of the University of Notre Dame Blue-Gold final spring football game Saturday will be shown on the video boards in Purcell Pavilion. The game will be shown from 12:30-2:30 p.m. EDT.
From noon to 12:30 p.m. the video boards will show Onward Notre Dame: New Beginnings, a half-hour NBCSN documentary on 2015 Irish spring football. That showed debuted on NBCSN Tuesday night.
Concession stands at Purcell Pavilion will be open throughout the telecast. There are no tickets available this year to the general public for the Blue-Gold football event at the LaBar Practice Complex.
Meanwhile, the Shamrock Spring Weekend features 10 events, highlighted by free admission to baseball's three-game series against North Carolina State, softball's Strikeout Cancer weekend versus Syracuse and the women's lacrosse matchup with Louisville. Additionally, the Irish will host a trio of tennis matches, as the men take on Wake Forest and North Carolina State and the women battle Duke.
Fans will have the opportunity to win giveaways throughout the weekend, including pizza from Papa John's, Notre Dame aluminum water bottles and other Fighting Irish prizes.
The top-rated Irish men's lacrosse squad also wraps up its home slate against second-ranked North Carolina at 4 p.m. EDT Saturday, however that game already is sold out. In addition to the ACC action, the Irish men's and women's soccer programs will continue spring exhibition play. A full schedule of weekend events can be found below. For more information, follow ND Athletics Marketing on Twitter (@GoIrish). Parking for all these events is available free of charge in the Library, Bulla, Stadium and Joyce lots.
