If Clemson wins against LSU

Wisconsin was a very good team this year relative to their track record. But they were very veteran heavy and they had a superstar running back who went to the NFL. A lot of people expect Wisconsin to come way back down to earth next year of and be more of a mid-teens to early twenties team as opposed to a top-10 team. Wisconsin could very well be a really average big 10 team next season as well.

Sort of but not exactly. They only returned 10 starters this past season and I think only 1 on their oline. Taylor is just a beast. They have an identity and are well coached

It isn't just quantity of returning players that make a difference, more important is quality. The players they returned in 2019 were a lot of really good/impact players. Those guys are gone now. Wisconsin doesn't particularly recruit well either so it's anybody's guess what their 2020 team will be like. Losing one of the best players/RBs in the country in Jonathan Taylor is a huge setback as well. Players like that come around maybe once a decade and he's been a major part of their success the last three years.

They have a good rb every year and a good team pretty much every year

other than Taylor (and Cephus who didn’t even play in 2018), who are you referring to? It wasn’t like they returned a ton of production on defense
