I'm not going to say much on this one to ensure Ian and his family can enjoy this incredible moment.. I just wanted to share a little bit so we can hold off on any negative comments on the kid. I live in the same community. My son is an athlete at the same high school and knows Ian and his older brother quite well. Great family and just so happy for them. Tremendous athlete and every bit 6'2. He's starting attack man for the varsity lacrosse team as well.. elite lacrosse player, extremely quick and crazy goal scorer. Don't worry about speed, quickness or elusiveness as a QB. I'll leave all the other QB analysis to the pro's! I had heard for a long time that he was a Boise lock with Sanford and then that changed when Coach Sanford went to ND. Coach Sanford told him they'd keep in touch and see if anything opened up at ND. Sure enough! I'm sure his dream is to play QB at ND but being the athlete he is it wouldn't surprise me if he's playing safety or helping the team in some other role. Congratulations to Ian and his family! I am still in shock. Can't wait to watch him this upcoming season. I'll keep everyone posted. GO IRISH
