To be honest I feel like this team has played above where they should've given we've been playing a kid who was 3rd string in the spring at QB who had zero experience before he got in, a converted WR at RB and a couple freshmen who had zero experience. Not to mention some good players on defense being out for all or most of the year. I dont know if its the team in general or Kizer hitting the wall, but we just dont seem to have that punch anymore. Maybe teams are figuring us out like they did last year I mean, we're getting stymied by Wake Forrest and BC. Given that OSU lost I expect us to be #3, #4 at worst, next week. Does anyone want to raise their hand and say "i'd like to play Bama". Bama would've beaten the piss outta both of those teams. We're a pretty good team and that "New Years 6" would be a good match up for us. I'm afraid the playoffs would equal 2012 all over again.

I don't think it matters considering if we play half as bad and Stanford will blow us out. Also if Russell is out then forget it. Our secondary was average with him in it and he was by far the best cover guy. BC has one of the worst offenses in the country and still managed to get big plays, we are really just lucky to win with all the mistakes and it won't happen against Stanford.

You do not have to be the best team in the country every week. You just have to be the better team in the stadium that week.

ND was the better team tonight. 10-1 with every goal still within reach.

good point. i do think our Oline is playing hurt. give us a couple weeks to heal up and we'll look alot better. unfortunately wont get that until after next week.

I agree with hitting the wall. I'm just glad ND won 10 games this season. They won't win another game this season.

Yes every team goes through games like this but this wasn't the only one this season. I think we have run out of luck for the year and it will show against Stanford, either way our players are very overrated.
