and I gotta say many were in the same boat as me. They knew ND was physical and tough but to outrun and chase down USCs athletes was incredible. They dominated on every front. Awesome game lads, made SD look quite average for the Men of Troy.

Hell of a win boys, they can't lick us right now.

I also like that our team is playing a lot of youth on defense, another year with some new blood being pumped in, we could see a truly resurgent defense.

I echo again this is the best ND is playing since Holtz days. This team is better than 12 by a lot.
The twelve defense and this one are similar but the offense is no comparison

That game last night was , IMHO, the best game the Irish have played in a few years. Totally prepared. Totally physical. Tackling was fantastic. Aggressive. It was Mardi Gras in and around the stadium after the game. Some of us, mostly me, were in shock and I mean that in a good way.

I just don't think so cal was ready for how physical ND has become and how fast ND is becoming. When BW lowered his shoulder and delivered the blow to the tackler, it was like WOW.
