While I was hoping that things would break our way, and I believe that we are one of the top three teams in the Country, I am ok with how things are ending up tonight. We were not eliminated from the playoffs until the end of the second from the last game of the regular season. Had we beat Cincinnati in early October, we would have come into the playoffs as the #1 seed. Unfortunately, there are four teams that are more deserving than us this year. Not better, but more deserving.
I’ll still be excited to curb stomp some big 10 team in the Fiesta bowl and set us up for a successful offseason.
