Since I live in the PNW I will be very interested in how the Huskies do against Alabama. This is a big chance for Chris Peterson to test his skills, particularly in comparison to the Irish in 2012. I would give the Huskies more of a chance if they had a better QB. Browning really isn't that good. SC totally shut him down with their team speed, which will be an even bigger problem against Alabama.

yep ^

that's probably gonna be the story. Saban does not destroy the opponent lest someone will start to call for investigation.

you read the Kizer thread?
what would the reaction be on the SC board if the starting QB who was a projected top 5 draft pick and posters, wonder 'if he will start in '17', then are hyping a 3 year non player as the starter before he has ever taken a snap in meaningful minutes! This stuff can hurt your head, be careful! don't stare at the posts too long!

If nothing else coach Petersen has proven to be a giant killer.

AL has destroyed almost every team they've played this year. In retrospect, the USC game is their most impressive win. I'm not sure how good the SEC is this year. My guess is Chris Peterson will watch the AL/Ole Miss game tapes multiple times given the Rebels played AL to the end. And as we've found out, Ole Miss isn't great by any stretch of the imagination. Yes, they've had injuries, but their last 2 games, losses to Vandy and being blown away by MS st. takes the rose off of that win by AL.

Strictly talent wise and Saban @ the helm, Bama 38 UW 13. Coach Pete is a Top 5 coach and Boise St beating Stoops and OU is an example but don't see How UW keeps it within 3 TDs

UDub is in it till the end. Coach Pete is the best coach in college football.

The outmanned Huskies will find a way with coach Pete to keep it close.

Browning isn't that good? You'll be eating your words in a year or two when he's a first round pick.

The back up QB is always betetr than the starter everywhere. Just the way CFB fans are. We had the number one rated QB to start this year. Game three we replaced him and started winning.

The SC speed in the secondary totally disrupted his accuracy. He looked timid and indecisive. Plus he didn't look very good against Utah either. The Huskies cannot be carried by Browning.

Seriously..you guys are lost.

UW can win this game.

How? You beat Bama throwing the ball by backing off the back seven. until you back them off they murder the line of scrimmage. they dare you to throw.

UW has the arm and receivers to take advantage of the weak spot on the Bama defense...the corners.

The wild card though is Bama knows how to win. big games do NOT make them nervous (take note idiot Kelly)

Make no mistake UW can win.

well, gotta disagree.

this is gonna be like the 5th grader beating up the 1st grader. UW will just be in a world of physical mismatch.
And word is that Santa's reindeer have been spotted and they have no antlers!

I live in the NW and have watched UW play numerous games. Not to sound like a Debbie Downer, but UW has very little chance to hang with Alabama. Not saying UW is not good, but the DL for Alabama is no match for UW OL. Same goes for Alabama OL against UW DL. Alabama will just wear UW DL down. It might be somewhat close till about midway through the 3rd quarter. In addition to that Browning is not a great dual threat QB. This is the one thing a team that can beat Alabama needs to keep a drive alive or buy extra time. My prediction will be Alabama 35 UW 16
