Hounshell at TE

His bio has him as an OL in high school. This might be a positive sign that ND will run the ball in 2015. Will he make the squad at TE?

I don't think so. This team could use a strong blocker at TE and that is why he has been given the chance. He could transfer right now to a MAC school and probably start.

Looking at the weights did Heuerman staying at 225# create this opening? Hmmmmm....seems disappointing for a TE that wants to contribute.

He'll have to beat out Luatua for the blocking role. That might be a challenge if Luatua has developed too.

They should've made this move 2 years ago. Then he might be like Niklas setting the edge.

I don't think Hounshell will play except maybe during mop up time. His shoulder keeps getting injured---.
He will get a great degree and have a great life so it is not a sad story. Many promising players get hurt. High level Football is tough on the body.
