Hoping ND women reach final4

Watching #1 seed in Midwest ND women beating Indiana 87-70, and seeing the #2 seed Maryland surprisingly losing to Washington , the ND women will have to beat #4Michigan St and then the winner of # 3 Kentucky/ #7 Washington game to reach the final 4 . These contests will be tough and not as easy as in the past . But the ND women have to play at a higher level than they did against Indiana .

Then I watched UConn easily roll over Duquesne 97-51 . UConn ,after a lackluster schedule in the AAC ( more like scrimmages than league games) is revving up it's game to another level . Yes, UConn only beat us by 10 without Turner ,; our only loss,,but that was early in the season .Auriemma always gets his team to play it's best games against the top teams . UConn women always show up big time against the best teams .

Would love Notre Dame to reach Final 4 , than beat South Carolina and face UConn again. Let the chips fall where they may . The ND women will go out and play their game ,no matter .I like their style

The road will be tougher than in years past - but only because ND is not as "loaded" as they normally are. The competition (aside from UCONN) is still lagging way behind. They've gained some ground lately, but the gap is still very, very wide.

#4 MSU, #3 Kentucky, #7 Washington - meh. The Irish are still head and shoulders above these teams. Granted, anything can happen in the tournament, but the Irish should make the Final Four at the VERY LEAST.

wasn't impressed with last nights games because for 2 and a half quarters they let Indiana keep it close. this team plays down to the competition sometimes but I think they'll play better as the competition gets better in the sweet sixteen. i'm with South Bender though and think they'll make there sixth straight final four appearance. I believe they'll get up for Stanford this Friday with them being a national power for so many years and win big. when this team is motivated and hungry then only UConn can beat them in my opinion

Stanford looked human last night. Just barely got by South Dakota State. But then ND looked kind of human too for much of the Indiana game.

Hope our girls wake up and realize they have a tournament to win!
