BAS: In latest NCAA Tournament bracketology, Notre Dame has moved onto the bubble

Notre Dame is still on the wrong side of the bubble — "the first four out" — but have a chance to play their way in with three games against Bowling Green (30-16), a makeup home game with Eastern Michigan (18-23), and then a three-game road series at Miami (29-16, 14-9) ahead of the ACC Tourney. And just three weeks ago ND (26-19, 12-15) was in 16th place in the 16-team ACC standings. The Irish are 11th now with a chance to move into the

D1 Baseball projects nine teams into the 64-team bracket, with three of them No. 1 seed/hosts in the 16-team regionals — Florida State, Clemson and North Carolina. The other six are all No. 2s in their respective four-team regionals. Virginia and Virginia Tech are also on the bubble, but in the next tier behind the Irish.

The Bowling Green home series — Friday and Saturday at home, then Sunday at BG — follows a week of final exams and will start Friday night at 6:30 (EDT) on ACC Network Extra.
