Problem is ND doesn't get any long athletic players ... our bigs don't contribute much to this team.
Time for ND to care about bball. Football is a cash cow but it'll never win big. Brey can win big if you give him the resources. A real program is going to steal him from ND someday.

I have noticed that with blitzkrieg swarming defenses. They get a lot of home cooking and dare the refs to stop the flow of the game by calling all the fouls. Despite that, we found a way to keep in the game until they scored on 6 of their last 7 possessions. This team has shown some impressive chemistry to get to 16-3 winning in all sorts of ways. Hope they show that they can bounce back against Cuse and UVA.
I think the game was called pretty loosely, and that was clearly not to our advantage. I remember thinking in the second half that Farrell might need 24 hours of sleep after this game, because he is under pressure at every moment when we have the ball. FSU's defense will just wear you down eventually, or, in our case, cause to you to turn it over at twice your average.
The positives. Temple Gibbs can play at this level, and play well. FSU played out of their minds the last four minutes of the game, and we still had a chance at the end. We have a good team, we have some more ACC wins in us.

Average, and being the clear starter on a .500 team, is not a bust. Ryan Leaf out of the league in two years is a bust.
It's tough winning on the road. The officials seem to get intimidated by the crowd. Still a nice effort only losing by 3.
