Well...I was at the first night game in 21 years which was vs USC back in 2011 so it would be 2009Out of curiosity, when was the last time they played USC at home during the day?
We played every game except for night games at 3:30 for what at least 10 years? It's only the last couple they changed to 2:30. I like 3:30 for tv watching....can get more done before the game and if I attend I stay over so fine with the 7:20 finish them dinnerA little surprised only one 2:30 game. They usually play at that time, unless it's a night game.

Heck, I remember when games began at 1:30 on a Saturday (yes, I am dating myself).
I would tend to think it would be pretty full, senior day. Of course this is pending on record at the time.3:30 kickoff against Wake Forest on November 18. The stadium may be half full.

When ND first signed with NBC, they had a uniform 2:30 p.m. starting time. (Eastern time.)We played every game except for night games at 3:30 for what at least 10 years? I'm just talking about adding a few players each class. We should be able to do that without any major hits to academics. And remember we're being forced to do this to keep our scholarship numbers at or near 85, since the NCAA has opened the floodgates for transfers.
Right now we're apparently down to 81 or 82, and may be forced to play this season under the max, unless we can find a few transfers in this summer. But there aren't that many grad transfers available, so that might be tough to do.
2009 was the last one I remember. It was actually a good game.Out of curiosity, when was the last time they played USC at home during the day?
I just had to check the paper in the morning. I am in Arizona which changes time zones instead of clocks. Under the newfangled daylight savings time rules we now have 2/3 of the football season on California time. This means even the 1:30 EDT kickoffs are a bother."A little surprised only one 2:30 game.
