We may ultimately get beat by one of the 3 Bigs but here’s what gives me hope. You are going to be hard pressed to find a team with better skill players than Clemson and UNC. I know Alabama and OSU have dynamic WR’s too but we now know we can compete.
Our DB’s are the weakest link on the defense but with that said they continue to fight and making some key plays and Lea is using scheme to help them out. McCloud made a great play knocking the ball loose on crossing play in 1st half that would have been a first down. As bad as it seemed the first two drives, they stepped up.
This team is physical on both sides of the ball, they have confidence they’re going to win they’re not hoping to win and they’re just different then in past years. I said earlier in the year that we finally have an identity and it’s like someone said in one of the other threads, we are a tough physical football team, that’s our identity and that gives me hope.
