Has there ever been worse QB play at ND

That guy posts so many negative things it makes you question as to whether or not he's just simply a troll.

If not, then perhaps he does it to portray himself to be the smartest guy in the room when in all actuality it reveals he's the exact opposite.
He was totally exposed on his post about the 2020 Clemson game. Showed he hasn’t been to a game in decades, that he wasn’t even aware of that game and circumstances, and he has been predicting incorrectly all year

I’m enjoying watching him try to deflect

he will be changing his handle soon

Yes we can. Playing the way we played yesterday is our best chance to beat USC.

Notre Dame will have a much better advantage up front against USC than they did last night.
Agree that running and controlling the TOP will be key to any chance the Irish have, obviously. The question is, was the Irish cornerback play about the maturity of #20 and #5 or was it Clemson’s Qb lack of confidence and indecisiveness? Sc‘s qb will not play that poorly

I sure hope ND can run it in the 2nd half. Thank god for special teams and Al Golden so far
I am a big Tommy supporter but his QB recruiting is not good.

You have to have either a dominant lights out defense or an elite game changer at QB, if you want to win a Championship

Pyne made a couple really important first down scrambles last night, and the TD run and TD pass were great calls by Rees, and well executed by Pyne. It was great to see Pyne’s swagger back and hope he builds on this game. That said, we need more than sub 50% completions and 85 yards passing from our QB. My guess is we see a more confident and more productive Pyne the rest of this season, notwithstanding the negatives of his physical limitations. I hope Angeli gets meaningful playing time the next two weeks, which of course would mean we take care of business early and often against two weaker opponents, and avoid the any let down.

I am with you on this take, @Telx1. After his first couple of starts I felt pretty good about Pyne. While he wasn't playing like an NFL draft pick, I thought he was playing good enough that we could win with him if we could get our OL going and the running game in gear. Unfortunately Pyne has played really poorly after his first couple of starts, and at times has been downright awful. There is simply no denying that. HIs accuracy has been woeful and at times he has looked completely lost. He has clearly been the weak link on the team.

While Pyne wasn't particularly great last night, he was at least able to make a couple of important plays with his legs when we really needed him to. What encouraged me the most, though, was seeing him running around on the sidelines acting like the game was fun again. The past few games before that his body language on the sidelines has been terrible, and if he wasn't playing like he was scared to make a mistake, he certainly was playing without any kind confidence. Time will tell, but I hope last night's beatdown of Clemson will get Pyne playing with some confidence again, and maybe that will translate to better and more productive play from him. He isn't a great QB by any stretch, but I am still convinced he can play better than he has shown. If Pyne can just play average football and make the easy throws (and stop locking on Mayer on every pass play), this team might be really good.

Andrew Luck was college elite. I just think one needs a balanced program, with the right players at each unit, including QB.

Man if we had Andrew Luck we'd be playing for a title
I’d hope so. But Stanford was solid during his time. I remember he lost to Oklahoma State in a bowl game.

It takes a lot is all I’m saying. Not just a very good QB. Weis had good QBs but couldn’t succeed…a good example of a successful assistant who couldn’t cut it as head coach.
